An employee from a local Benicia business has been arrested and charged with embezzling more than $141,000 for three years. This development follows an in-depth investigation by the Benicia Police Department's detectives.
According to the social media announcement released by the Benicia Police Department, their investigation concluded that the unnamed employee had systematically taken the funds from the business.
During the investigation, detectives interviewed the employee, who was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Solano County Jail for booking.
