The Kenner Police Department confirmed that a body found belongs to 79-year-old Charles Veith from Houston, who had been missing since last Christmas. Veith was in New Orleans to visit family and was last heard from on that day, as per ABC13.
Veith's body was found floating on Tuesday near the Kenner Boat Launch in Louisiana around 8:30 a.m. Police found no signs of foul play but are investigating the circumstances of his disappearance. They have not yet located his grey Ford Edge, which has a Texas Knights of Columbus license plate.
