According to Boulder County Parks & Open Space, they are not only a nonprofit entity supported by local donations, but also a proponent of fostering partnerships. Projects that encourage such collaboration are looked upon favorably, projects seeking seed funding, or that provide innovation, are also especially encouraged this cycle.
The application process requires interested groups or individuals to submit a detailed budget spreadsheet and the official application via email to [email protected] by the stated deadline. The foundation's board will review submitted applications at their April 8 meeting, with funding decisions being announced by mid-April. It’s worth noting that traditionally, the board has a policy of considering funding projects for a maximum of three years.

Ranging from $2,263 to the CSU Extension for native plant education, to a generous $60,000 for Harvest of all First Nations' food justice efforts and their Corn Festival.
