
Brooklyn Park residents were left in unease following a gunshot that pierced the stillness of the night on January 3rd. According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert, Brooklyn Park Police were dispatched to the 5900 block of 83rd Parkway North after two individuals reported hearing a single gunshot at around 11:18 P.M. Despite a thorough search, police were not able to locate any suspects or spent shell casings.
The officers who responded to the scene aimed to quickly garner any evidence of the incident. "Officers spoke with two individuals who had called 911, both of whom reported hearing one gunshot," as noted by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
Brooklyn Park Police have urged members of the community to actively report any suspicious activities and have reassured the public that they are increasing their vigilance to prevent further incidents. "A thorough search of the area was conducted; however, officers were unable to locate any spent shell casings," Brooklyn Park Police stated in the aftermath of the incident.
