
The calm of a Brooklyn Park neighborhood was pierced by gunfire last Friday afternoon. According to local authorities, police were dispatched to the 6400 block of Neddersen Parkway around 2:20 P.M. following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who reported hearing several gunshots, seeing an SUV speed away from the scene, and a man fleeing through the backyards.
While combing the area, law enforcement found multiple shell casings, evidence of the gunplay that had occurred. They also made contact with a victim who had been targeted in the shooting, confirming miraculously, that no one had been physically harmed in the incident. The identity of the shooter remains unknown, and the Brooklyn Park Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
