
On Friday evening in Kent, a car hit a fire hydrant, causing flooding inside nearby apartments. Puget Sound Fire crews responded to the Appian Way Apartments, where water flooded at least six units. FOX 13 Seattle reported that the powerful stream of water from the damaged hydrant managed to flood at least six apartments.
The incident was first reported by Puget Sound Fir on social media at 7:56 p.m. According to KOMO News, the collision quickly caused water to flood into homes, forcing residents to deal with the sudden surge. The American Red Cross was called in to help those displaced by the flooding.
