Charlotte County residents can dispose of old tires responsibly at the Tire Amnesty Day event on Jan. 25. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Center parking lot, located at 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL.
According to the Charlotte County website, each household can drop off up to 12 tires, as long as they are 22 inches or smaller in width. Proof of Charlotte County residency is required to participate. Commercial tires will not be accepted to ensure the focus remains on residential waste.
