
A Coldwater man, 53, was left in critical condition following a collision between his bicycle and a vehicle this morning. The incident, which happened shortly after 8 a.m. on Michigan Avenue just north of East Chicago Street, involved a car driven by a 24-year-old Coldwater woman. As reported by WOODTV, the bicyclist was urgently transported to a local hospital in Coldwater and subsequently moved to another facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was listed in critical condition.
According to details procured by WWMT, Coldwater Police dispatched to the scene called in a Michigan State Police crash reconstructionist to aid in comprehending the events leading up to the crash. First respondents from the Coldwater Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance responded to administer immediate care to the injured cyclist at the scene, as detailed by WTVBAM.
