The Columbus Police Department is actively seeking information on a robbery last month on the city's southeast side. According to the Columbus Division of Police, a recently released report, two female suspects are wanted for shoplifting and brandishing large knives at a local business on the 4400 block of Refugee Rd.
The incident, which unfolded at 6:50 PM on December 18, 2024, turned confrontational when a store employee approached the suspects. The suspects, described only as females, threatened the victim with knives after being confronted about the theft. They managed to quickly leave the scene in a black Nissan Rogue that was missing its license plates, leaving the victim fortunately unharmed but shaken. The Columbus Police have yet to identify the suspects or apprehend them closely.
Law enforcement is urging anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspects to come forward.
