The Columbus Division of Police is contacting the public for assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a December break-in at a local business. According to a social media post from the Columbus Division of Police, the incident occurred on the 4200 block of Morse Rose on December 16, 2024, where a male individual shattered a window to gain entrance into the premises.
Once inside, the masked suspect, driving what was possibly described as a Nissan Maxima, wasted no time seizing cash from the counter area and forcibly opening an Ohio Lottery Keno machine to extract additional funds. The authorities released an image of the car, hoping someone might recognize it and provide valuable information.
Investigators ask for the community's help to bring the perpetrator to justice. Detective Francis with the Columbus Police Property Crimes Division leads this case. "Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to call Columbus Police Property Crimes Detective Francis at 614-645-2158 or email [email protected]," the division detailed in their announcement. Furthermore, individuals wishing to provide anonymous tips can contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
