Henderson residents are invited to join city leaders for coffee this January as the City of Henderson launches a series of monthly Mayor and Council events. According to their official website, these gatherings will provide an opportunity for residents to meet, enjoy complimentary refreshments, ask questions directly to elected officials, and learn about current community developments.
This month, Ward I Councilman Jim Seebock met with constituents at the Black Mountain Recreation Center, located at 599 Greenway Rd., Henderson, NV 89015, today, starting at 9 a.m. Mayor Michelle Romero will hold a public meeting the following week on Jan. 15, at 9 a.m. at Public Works Coffee Bar, located at 314 S. Water St., Henderson, NV 89015.
Next, Ward III Councilwoman Carrie Cox is scheduled to meet with constituents on January 22, at 9 a.m. at Mimi’s Café, located at 596 N. Stephanie St., Henderson, NV 89014. Later in the week, Ward IV Councilman Dan Stewart will hold a meeting Jan. 23, at 9 a.m. at Aware Coffee, located at 10880 S. Eastern Ave #103, Henderson, NV 89052.
These informal events are open to all Henderson residents, whether you're new to local politics or have attended town hall meetings before. No reservations are required, and refreshments will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is recommended to arrive early to ensure availability.
