Dallas residents and visitors alike note that your Saturday plans just got a creative upgrade. This weekend, the Bath House Cultural Center at scenic White Rock Lake Park will host a 'Family Arts Bash,' and admission is free. The cultural hub offers various art activities for all ages.
The event, part of a series called 'SPRING SECOND SATURDAYS,' will feature a medley of interactive experiences, from dance to visual arts to music. According to a bulletin released by the City of Dallas yesterday, the Bath House Cultural Center aims to engulf the whole family in a sea of creative immersion.
But the fun at the Bath House doesn't dwindle with the daylight. "Soft Slice," a black music showcase presented by Toast Toast Recordings, will cap off your art-filled day with live musical performances as the sun sets. Beginning at 7 PM, this portion of the event will host artists Kent Evans, James Naylor, and Matthew Devil – lending their beats to the darkness of the Black Box Theater.
Adding an extra layer to the event's cultural tapestry, the Bath House Cultural Center invites guests to explore the current printmaking exhibition, "ENTINTADO: INKED VISIONS FROM THE U.S. AND MÉXICO". Manager Jessica Trevizo and other staff members are on deck, ready to offer insight and answer queries, fulfilling their roles to foster community engagement in the arts.
