Heads up, Dearborn residents! Your 2025 City Calendar should have landed in your mailbox, if not by now, at least starting the week of December 23, 2024. According to the City of Dearborn's announcement, this year's edition is a shout-out to the city’s diligent workforce, featuring the faces of those who press to serve across various departments.
Not only a collection of dates, the calendar serves up a mix of vital information ranging from public works and utility details to tax deadlines, city meetings, and city holidays. For those who might not have gotten their hands on a physical copy, the City has got you covered. They've launched a special website, Dearborn.gov/WorkingForYou, where you can easily download and flip through the digital version.
The city's initiative extends beyond printed pages. This online hub isn't just a static PDF; it's set to roll out a video featuring a different department each month, alongside more snapshots of the workforce and a breakdown of city happenings in a month-by-month format. It's not every day you get such a direct line to who's doing what for your community.
Paper aficionados or those needing an additional copy can walk in and snag one at several City buildings; notably, the Dearborn Administrative Center at 16901 Michigan Ave, Esper Branch Library at 12929 W. Warren Ave, the Henry Ford Centennial Library located at 16301 Michigan Ave, Ford Community & Performing Arts Center sitting at 15801 Michigan Ave, and the Bryant Branch Library at 22100 Michigan Ave, just to name a few.
