According to ClickOnDetroit, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Schaefer Road and Colson Street on New Year's Eve. The victim, a 40-year-old resident, was reportedly not wearing a helmet or any protective gear at the time of the crash.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, where they found the individual in critical condition. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
