Detroit law enforcement officials are currently seeking the public's assistance in locating two male suspects linked to a series of burglaries across the city's west side. As documented in three separate reports, these individuals are believed to be responsible for at least three incidents of theft from local businesses between the end of December 2024 and the beginning of January 2025. According to CBS News Detroit, the first burglary occurred on Dec. 28, around 5:24 a.m. at a clothing store located on the 13100 block of West McNichols Road, with the suspects escaping in a black or dark gray Jeep Grand Cherokee after stealing merchandise.
Less than two hours after committing their first known crime, the pair targeted a liquor store on the 20500 block of Lasher Road, where they were reported by WWJ Newsradio to have stolen money, food, and alcohol. The suspects, driving the same Jeep Grand Cherokee, struck again on Jan. 2 before 3:30 a.m., this time breaking into a liquor store on the 10700 block of West Eight Mile Road and making off with more alcohol.
The Detroit Police have released descriptions of the suspects involved: the first suspect stands between 6 feet, 1 inch, and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, while the second has been described as between 5 feet, 10 inches, and 6 feet tall with a heavyset build. These details were reiterated in a news release from FOX 2 Detroit, emphasizing the urgent need for information that could lead to their apprehension.
