
A high-speed chase came to a dramatic conclusion in northwest Harris County, leading to a major crash in Cypress. The incident, which took place sometime after midnight, according to Click2Houston, ended with the driver crashing at the intersection of Huffmeister and Telge Road near an apartment complex and into a wooded area.
Responders were quick to arrive at the scene, with at least one person having to be flown to a nearby hospital. The identity of the injured party has not been disclosed as the authorities continue to rigorously investigate to piece together the full storyline of the events that led to this incident. The roadways were, as a result, shut down for several hours to safely clear the scene and collect necessary evidence.
Few details are known about the circumstances that initiated the pursuit. As per Fox26Houston, officials from the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office has yet to release information regarding what prompted the chase or whether any additional suspects were apprehended in connection with the chase and subsequent crash.
