The incident occurred on Jan. 4 near the intersection of 34th and Lloyd, as reported by WISN, which stated that the driver of the vehicle that caused the collision was traveling north when they struck the second vehicle, subsequently fleeing the scene on foot.
According to information from the Milwaukee Police Department obtained by CBS 58, the passenger of the struck vehicle was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries the driver of the second vehicle, also injured, was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The time of the crash was around 7:50 p.m., based on reports.
The Milwaukee Fire Department rendered aid to the victims, and the crash is under investigation as authorities have yet to identify the suspect.
