Traffic in Dallas County hit a snag yesterday afternoon when an overturned truck tractor scattered gravel across the lanes of northbound I-35 at Reunion Blvd. The Dallas County Sheriff's Department posted a social media message warning commuters to expect delays as the cleanup commenced. In what could have turned into a perilous ordeal, the truck driver was not injured during the incident.
According to the Dallas Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred late in the afternoon and resulted in three right lanes being shut down, leaving only the left lane to daringly accommodate rush hour traffic.
Officials advised drivers to seek alternate routes while efforts were underway to clear the debris-strewn roadway. There was no immediate word on what might have caused the truck to overturn.
