A wandering pup in Duncanville has found its way back home after the local community came together to assist in reuniting the lost dog with its owner. The Duncanville Police Department had taken to social media to call upon residents to help locate the family of the found dog.
The Duncanville Police Department shared an image of the lost dog and a message to the public. "Duncanville, let’s get to work! This sweet dog needs our help finding his family. Please share and spread the word to reunite him with his loved ones. Every share makes a difference!" they posted. The dog had been found in the 1000 block of Bow Creek Dr., awaiting someone to claim it at the shelter.
The call to action resonated with the Duncanville community as the outreach prompted a happy ending. On the Police Department's original post, an update informed the public that the owner had reclaimed the dog, and it was now back home.
