In Fairfield, a 59-year-old woman, identified as Crystal Perry, was arrested after allegedly vandalizing a vehicle and brandishing a dagger. The Fairfield Police Department reported that Dispatch was contacted just after midnight yesterday about a woman who had poured paint on a car belonging to someone she knew and had slashed its tires. According to the Fairfield Police Department's social media post, when the victim noticed Perry in the act, she fled the scene.
The incident escalated shortly thereafter when the victim and a friend decided to confront Perry at her apartment. As they neared her residence, Perry emerged wielding a dagger, prompting the victim and their friend to retreat and alert the authorities quickly. "As they approached, however, Perry exited her apartment wielding a dagger. The victim and her friend fled and contacted the police," the Fairfield Police Department stated in their announcement of the arrest.
Swiftly responding to the call, police officers detained Perry without incident. During the investigation, officers found the dagger inside Perry's apartment. Subsequently, Perry was charged with vandalism and brandishing a weapon, and she was booked into Solano County jail.
