A man has lost his life after a shooting occurred outside the Tally Ho Bar Lounge & Grill in Tampa as the city welcomed the new year, as per the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The incident took place in the early hours of New Year’s Day and has prompted an ongoing investigation, the office reported. When the Sheriff's deputies arrived, not only they found a man with at least one gunshot wound behind the bar in the parking lot but also a community shaken by the violence on what was meant to be a festive occasion. Rushed to a nearby hospital, the individual was later pronounced dead, according to the sheriff's office. As the shooter remains at large, an appeal for witnesses and information has been issued.
