The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reaching out to the public for assistance in tracking down a woman involved in an Inglewood bank robbery last month. As CBS News Los Angeles reported, the robbery occurred at the Citibank on 2940 W. Imperial Highway on December 27.
According to the FBI, the woman, donning a facemask and with blonde hair, managed to escape the scene in a gray sedan from the early-2000s. In a twist of fate and having been captured on surveillance, two photos of the suspect were released wearing a black beanie in addition to her mask.
Efforts to locate the suspect have intensified with the FBI Los Angeles' appeal to the public for information. In a post on their website, the FBI asks anyone who can identify the suspect or has knowledge of the robbery to come forward. "Can you identify this bank robbery suspect who robbed a Citibank at 2940 W. Imperial Highway in #Inglewood on 12/27/24?" reads the plea on their post, providing a descriptor of the suspect similar to that provided by CBS News Los Angeles.
