Anglers and nature enthusiasts in Wisconsin are invited to an informative evening about local trout habitat management. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hosting the third session of its nine-part Spotlight Series, focusing on habitat preservation in northeast Wisconsin's waters. The event will take place today at Shawano Middle School in Shawano, Wisconsin.
The Department of Natural Resources will discuss the Brainard’s Bridge Project in Waupaca, an important initiative for regional habitat management. DNR staff will share information about management techniques and the progress made in improving fisheries habitats across northeast Wisconsin, along with updates on completed projects and future plans.
For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available via Microsoft Teams. The session will run from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring presentations and a Q&A.
