In an effort to combat a persisting and pervasive issue within our midst, the Florida Department of Health in Nassau County is taking a proactive stance by providing human trafficking prevention training to the local community. The session, as announced on the Nassau County social media page, is slated for next Monday, January 27, 2025, and aims to arm participants with the necessary tools to recognize and respond to signs of human trafficking.

Set to take place at the FL Department of Health-Nassau on 1620 Nectarine Street, the training will run from 9 am to 12 pm, offering attendees insights into the complexities of human trafficking, as well as strategies for effective communication and intervention the situation presents as a unique opportunity for individuals and professionals to better understand this global crisis that often unfolds in local settings.
