Attention LEGO® fans and brick enthusiasts! The Folsom Public Library is hosting its LEGO® Building Contest once again, and this year’s theme is NATURE. According to the City of Folsom announcement, the theme is set to spark creativity with designs featuring plastic plants and miniature wildlife. Builders can drop off their completed projects at the library from January 28 to February 1, with a strict 11 a.m. deadline for those wishing to enter the competition.

The competition features participants as young as four years old, showcasing their skill in creating LEGO® entries. The public will have the opportunity to view the entries and vote for the Crowd Favorite between 2-4 p.m. on February 1. The event will highlight a range of nature-inspired LEGO® designs.

It’s not only about recognition, but also prizes, as announced by the City of Folsom: "Prizes will be awarded in 5 categories: Young Child (4-6), Child (7-9) Child (10-12) Teen (13-18) and Family/Team." Each category includes awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place, as well as Crowd Favorite. The 1st Place winners will receive a $25.00 gift card. For those interested in participating or learning more, all details and rules can be found in the 2025 LEGO Contest Rules and Application document.
