Fontana Police Department has issued an urgent plea for assistance in locating Ronalee Barrett Stanberry, who is suspected of fatally assaulting a local business owner in Fontana, as reported in a FOX LA news release. The incident occurred on January 10 when the 79-year-old victim was attacked with a baseball bat by Stanberry while opening his Allstate Insurance office.

The suspect, described as a transient with connections to several areas including Chino, Los Angeles, and Kern County, has been difficult to locate. After committing the unprovoked attack, Stanberry is said to have fled towards the eastbound 10 Freeway on-ramp at Sierra Avenue. He was last seen wearing a white USPS button-up shirt with blue pinstripes, which he allegedly stole from the victim's business. According to the Fontana Police Department's Facebook page, he has "distinctive tattoos above his eyebrows with the words 'Active' and 'Whiteboy.'"

Fontana Police continue to urge the public to come forward with any information that could lead to apprehending Stanberry. "We urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ronalee Barrett Stanberry to contact Detective Hart at (909) 854-8172 or dial 911immediately," the Fontana Police Department stated.
