The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office is currently intensifying efforts to apprehend a man wanted on multiple felony charges, including child sexual abuse and rape. In their quest to locate Garet Lyn White, authorities are turning to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest. White, according to reports from KFOR, stands accused of two counts of felony possession of a firearm, one count of first-degree rape, and four counts of child sexual abuse.
Describing White as a potential threat to public safety, the Garvin County Sheriff's Office advised citizens to report sightings or information directly to law enforcement. "White is considered dangerous; anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward," they stated in a notice obtained by OKC FOX. The authorities encourage not to engage directly but rather to provide tips that could help to quickly bring White into custody.
White has been specifically described as a white male with strawberry blonde hair, standing 5'7" tall, and weighing around 250 pounds. This description, shared by KFOR, is meant to assist the public in identifying the wanted individual, should they encounter him.
The Sheriff's Office has streamlined the process to allow anyone to anonymously submit information. Tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 855-211-7867, where an anonymous tip can be left. "White is considered a dangerous individual, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Garvin County Authorities," according to a statement by KXII.
