Having expanded to 24 locations since its inception in 2008, Half Moon Empanadas aims to engrain the Latin American staple into the heart of American cuisine, now making its way into major airports with 14 outposts and counting. Walking into the venue, opened daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., customers can expect to be greeted with an array of empanadas. Terry Mallum, Regional Manager at Delaware North, expressed his gratitude while picking up friends and family arriving at AUS, "Half Moon Empanadas is a great option for our meeters and greeters," according to an interview with AustinTexas.gov.
