A DoorDash driver in Harris County has found himself in hot water after threatening to dispatch McDonald's employees to the hereafter. The incident, which unfolded at a McDonald's on Cypresswood, led to the arrest of Wister Cobas, who now faces a terroristic threat charge. This information comes courtesy of reports by FOX 26 Houston and KRIV.
The authorities were summoned to the scene after reports of a disturbance. Cobas allegedly became animated when the employees refused to hand over a food order without seeing proof he was the legit delivery driver. In response, Cobas threatened to kill the workers, while also indicating he was armed, according to KRIV. He split before deputies arrived, but they managed to quickly track down his vehicle and perform a traffic stop.
Constable Precinct 4 deputies said that after the employees declined to provide Cobas with the order due to a lack of delivery request proof, he became very aggressive. "He then, according to officials, threatened to kill the employees," as noted by FOX 26 Houston. Cobas made gestures that led employees to believe he possessed a firearm. Following his arrest, Cobas was booked into the Harris County Jail. He's now facing a bond set at $100.
