Despite ongoing efforts to address fireworks-related incidents, the latest event highlights the risks associated with them. Governor Green acknowledged the work of the Illegal Fireworks Task Force, which was established in 2023. "It has seized 227,000 pounds of illegal fireworks to date," as per Governor Green’s statement given on the Governor’s official website.
