
Authorities in Henderson are currently investigating a case involving a deceased body that was found in a desert area on the outskirts of the city. The scene unfolded east of Desert Sunflower Circle and Spanish Needle Street on Sunday. Detectives were called in at around 10:42 a.m. after officers and fire department personnel arrived on site to discover a deceased female, according to an official statement from the City of Henderson Police.
The female, who was found, has tentatively been identified as Jennaleah “Jenna” Hin, a woman who had been reported missing and endangered since December 30, 2024. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances of her death. Early signs suggest that foul play may not have been involved, according to the Henderson Police's initial report, as they continue to review the details at the scene.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office is handling the release of the decedent's name, pending notification of next of kin. Due to the ongoing investigation, officials are withholding further details.
