The VOTF's recent enforcement detail in North Minneapolis, aimed at curbing violent crime and auto theft, culminated not only in life-saving assistance but also in the arrests of five individuals.
Rapid response was crucial when VOTF detected a person in need of urgent care, racing towards North Memorial Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound. Detectives, on the scene, were able to quickly apply a tourniquet to the victim's leg, a measure that likely played a significant role in stemming the bleeding before hospital staff could take over. Alongside these efforts, the team recovered two firearms, held illegally, and returned five stolen vehicles to their rightful owners.
