Hilliard residents can look forward to ramping up their fitness routines as the city has announced a new addition to its upcoming recreation and wellness center, The Well. Armed with experience from the YMCA of Central Ohio, Kelly Gray is stepping in as the Fitness Recreation Supervisor.

Gray is no stranger to wellness management, having served as the Wellness Director and Chronic Disease Programming Coordinator at the YMCA in Gahanna. She brings a wealth of knowledge to Hilliard's expansive 110,000-square-foot facility, which is set to open its doors later this year. According to the City of Hilliard's announcement, her primary focus will be the vast two-story fitness floor, indoor adventure track, and exercise studios at The Well.

However, Kelly's role extends beyond equipment and facilities management. Having worked closely with corporate wellness programs, she is poised to implement similar initiatives tailored to the business community of Hilliard. The Well’s fitness and wellness programs are intended not only for the future patrons of The Well but also for the existing Hilliard Community Center members. With her appointment, Kelly is charged with shaping a healthier, more active community.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the appointment, Kelly stated obtained by City of Hilliard's, "I am super excited to be a part of the City of Hilliard and to build out health and wellness programs in this area," and she is eager "to help everyone in this community meet their health and wellness goals." This intent to enrich Hilliard's citizens' lives speaks to the city's proactive planning, recognizing the indispensable value of having physically and mentally fit residents. The collective breath of the city is seemingly held in anticipation, waiting for the opening of The Well to release a new wave of health-conscious enthusiasm.
