The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office recently marked the anniversary of Deputy Ed Aulick’s death, which occurred nearly a century ago. Aulick was killed in the line of duty on January 24, 1932, at the age of 31. He was shot while responding to a call, even though he was on his way home from work.
