
A dirt biker in Mililani was rescued by the Honolulu Fire Department after a call for assistance was received on Sunday at approximately 10:17 a.m. regarding an injury behind Noholoa Community Park. The first responding unit arrived at the scene at 10:21 a.m. and began setting up a perimeter for air operations to assist in the rescue, according to the department's news release.
Further information confirmed that the incident involved a male biker into his 60s who encountered a mishap, falling from a rough ledge about fifteen feet high. With precision, the inserted rescue personnel by Air 1 made contact with the victim at approximately 10:52 a.m.
The emergency responders performed an immediate medical evaluation of the biker, who had fallen from a ledge, and prepared him for helicopter extraction. After the successful airlift, the biker was safely transported to a nearby location, arriving at 11:09 a.m., where he was handed over to emergency medical services for further care.
