Authorities are currently seeking information related to the homicide of 17-year-old Lance Carrington, who was fatally shot on Tuesday in Columbia. To swiftly urge the community to step forward, a reward of up to $5,000 is offered for details that could lead to an arrest.
Carrington was discovered deceased in his vehicle, which had been parked on the 6000 block of Helen Dorsey Way around 8:30 p.m., according to a release by the Howard County Police Department.
Investigators are trying to figure out when the shooting happened. They think it was targeted and may be linked to drugs. No suspects have been identified yet, but the police are working hard to follow all leads in the investigation.
