
The Houston Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred at a bar on Bay Street this past Friday night. The incident, which took the life of a 55-year-old man, took place roughly around 11 p.m. at the establishment located at 3115 Bay Street, as reported in a recent press release.
Upon responding to the shooting, HPD patrol officers discovered an unresponsive male inside the bar with multiple gunshot wounds after receiving a call. Despite the efforts of Houston Fire Department paramedics who arrived at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. The victim's name is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Detectives M. Castillo and A. Ledford of the HPD Homicide Division, as tasked with the investigation, has yet to release a description of any potential suspect related to this crime.
