Residents and businesses needing assistance from the Department of Public Works Engineering Division should be aware of a temporary closure. Officials announced that the division will be closed next week, on Monday and Tuesday, as staff transition back to their newly renovated offices in suite 175 of the Mo‘ikeha Building.
The two-day closure of services will affect those with pending permits, construction plans, or city infrastructure inquiries, which will be paused until midweek. According to the official county press release, the department is scheduled to reopen on next Wednesday.
During the closure, the Engineering Division can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by phone at 808-241-4883. These channels may provide limited support for general inquiries and urgent matters while the office is unavailable.
