Kissimmee Horror: Man Charged with Murder of Unborn Child in Vicious Pizza Tip Stabbing SpreeSource: Osceola County Jail

In a tragic altercation over a pizza delivery tip, a pregnant woman suffered immeasurable harm. Osceola County authorities detained Hector Manuel Martinez-Figueroa, aged 28, for his role in a violent escalation at a Kissimmee motel, reported by ClickOrlando. On December 22, Brianna Alvelo, allegedly disgruntled by the tip provided, returned to the motel room with Martinez-Figueroa and launched an attack that left the victim stabbed 14 times.

Facing charges for home invasion with a firearm, aggravated assault with a weapon, and kidnapping, Martinez-Figueroa now also carries the burden of murder charges for the death of the unborn child, as the woman attacked was confirmed to be several weeks pregnant at the time. Details from law enforcement describe a distressing event where Martinez-Figueroa held a male victim at gunpoint in the bathroom while his accomplice, Alvleo, exacted the stabbing. They later allegedly took $120 from the woman's wallet. Hector Manuel Martinez-Figueroa is being held in jail without bond.

According to WFTV, the incident began when Alvelo, a pizza delivery worker, was reportedly unsatisfied with a $2 tip from the family staying at the Riviera Motel. After the heated exchange over the inability to make change for the tip, the situation escalated upon her return with Martinez-Figueroa. Following the arrest of Alvelo on December 23, an investigation shed light that on a jailhouse call to her mother, Alvelo inquired about a "Hector" frequently, contradicting her previous statement that identified a "Manuel Santiago" as her accomplice.

After an investigation, deputies used surveillance footage to locate Martinez-Figueroa at a motel on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. He was arrested on Wednesday and admitted during questioning that he was Alvelo's boyfriend and was with her the night of the incident.
