
The Lakeland community is being urged to assist in locating a missing 6-year-old girl named Empress Moore. According to WFLA, the Lakeland Police Department reported that she was last seen around 11:00 p.m. yesterday in the 200 block of Pear Street. Empress is approximately 4'3" tall, weighs 55 pounds, has braids, and was wearing a blue puffy jacket, blue leggings, and sparkly pink boots at the time of her disappearance.
Moore was first reported missing after she ran away from her home located in the 800 block of North New York Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Found soon after at a friend's house, Empress was returned home only to vanish once more shortly before 11 p.m., with the Lakeland Police receiving a call from her concerned mother at 10:55 p.m., as detailed in a report by FOX 13. Lakeland Police have been actively seeking her whereabouts, employing helicopters and bloodhounds in the search.
Furthermore, the young girl is diagnosed with autism, a detail that was shared by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement when they issued a Missing Child Alert. Despite her condition, Empress is not on any medication, heightening concerns for her safety.
