According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the 64-year-old male driver of the Sienna, a Las Vegas resident, died from life-threatening injuries on Wednesday and was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital. This marks the 7th traffic-related fatality in the region for 2025.
The incident occurred last Wednesdayt when the driver of the Ram, 53-year-old Vladimir Hall of Las Vegas, veered out of his lane and into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Hall, who was transported to Sunrise Hospital with significant injuries, showed signs of impairment and was later booked in absentia on DUI-related charges. The crash, which took place north of Vista Flora Way on Nellis Boulevard.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the collision, gathering evidence and witness statements that indicate the Ram crossed the concrete median barrier after failing to maintain its lane, resulting in a crash with the Sienna.
