According to a CBS News Detroit report, there have been multiple breaking and entering incidents in the Devils Lake area being investigated by the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office. These incidents reportedly took place in late November and early December, resulting in thefts from garages.
In an attempt to capture the perpetrators, officials have released video footage of a suspect and two vehicles thought to be associated with the crimes on the Crime Stoppers' Facebook page. A call is out for anyone who can provide information about these incidents, and tips can be submitted anonymously. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
Further incidents include a break-in at the Dollar General store in Onsted on December 28, 2024, around 4:57 a.m., with the suspect described as wearing dark clothing and tan gloves. Another breaking-and-entering case is under investigation in Tecumseh Township, where unspecified items were stolen from an outbuilding.
