
A stabbing incident that shattered the tranquility of a birthday celebration last weekend in Lewisville has led to the arrest of 24-year-old Roger Jesus Herrera Rodriguez. According to a social media post by the Lewisville Police Department, Rodriguez is being charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of a 28-year-old man.
The initial call brought officers to the 2100 block of Uecker Drive around 5:15 a.m. last Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a chaotic scene, gunshots had been reported but it was a stab wound that claimed the life of the victim, who later succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital. As for Rodriguez, he is now confined within the walls of the Lewisville City Jail, awaiting the judicial process to unfold.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will confirm the identity of the deceased as the community awaits news with heavy hearts.
