The student in question was later found in the school gym, carrying a cell phone case fashioned with a replica handgun attached. "Thankfully, in this case, there was no active threat," Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said, as reported by WTSP. A brief lockout period was designated for the school, which typically means that while external entrances are secured, internal operations continue as normal.
