In the heart of Mankato, Minnesota, a tale of separation followed by a touching reunion unfolds as a small senior female dog finds her way back home. The dog, a terrier mix weighing between 15 and 20 pounds, was discovered earlier today wandering through a townhouse parking lot on the 200 block of Butterworth Street, as reported by the City of Mankato.
As outlined in a Facebook update by the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government, the dog was quickly reported found, and the city rapidly responded with a call to the community to reunite her with her owner. The post advised anyone who recognized the dog or knew her owner to contact Public Safety at 911 to facilitate the pup's safe return. They included a link to the city's lost dog page for further assistance in these kinds of situations.
