A man was struck by two vehicles on Hempstead Road. The first vehicle hit him while he was on the road, and a second vehicle, a white truck, ran over him and then fled the scene. The road was closed for investigation, but the police took three months to assign a detective, citing other priority cases, as reported by Houston Chronicle.
The first driver is cooperating with the police, but the second driver, in a white pickup truck, fled the scene and is still at large. The Houston Police Department is searching for the hit-and-run driver and asking for any information from witnesses, as stated by Click2Houston.
