Sal's Pizza, a household name for many in Massachusetts, has finally crossed state lines to open its first Florida outpost. Last Friday, the Bay State's beloved pizzeria planted its flag on Floridian soil, offering a slice of the North End of Boston to the residents and visitors of Orlando. The new spot is at 9101 International Drive, conveniently situated within the up-and-coming Live! at the Pointe, as reported by ClickOrlando.
Since making waves in 1990, Sal's Pizza has made a name for itself with its commitment to fresh ingredients and dough made daily. The Orlando location promises to replicate this formula, offering cheese and pepperoni by the slice and a rotating specialty slice for those looking to quickly satisfy their pizza cravings. Additionally, the famed 19-inch pie comes fully customizable with various toppings. "Expanding our popular pizza business and bringing the freshest pizza and highest-quality ingredients to Floridians has been a long-time goal of mine," Sal Lupoli, the CEO and President of Sal's Pizza stated, as reported by ClickOrlando.
But it's not just about the pizza; the new establishment is part of the larger Live! at The Pointe, Orlando's fresh destination for dining, live music, nightlife, and events. According to a statement detailed by QSR Magazine, Kelby Giles, AVP of Operations at Live! Hospitality & Entertainment shared their enthusiasm: "We are thrilled that Sal’s Pizza has chosen Live! at The Pointe for their first Florida location,” said Kelby Giles. “This new addition brings a fresh, high-quality pizza offering crafted with the finest ingredients, complementing our other exceptional offerings at Live! at The Pointe."
For those keen to get a taste, Sal's Pizza is open for business every Monday through Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday to Friday from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m., Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m., and Sunday also from noon until 10 p.m.
