Channel 11 crews witnessed the intense fire sending thick plumes of smoke and towering flames into the sky from the 400 block of Wall Avenue. By 4 p.m., as firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control, their focus had shifted to extinguishing the lingering hotspots at the scene, WPXI reported.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh's Action News 4 arrived at Greg's Auto to find firefighters battling the flames that had taken over the business. According to WTAE, the first reports of the fire were recorded just after 12:15 p.m.
