This morning, a house fire erupted in the 700 block of Harriet Street in McKees Rocks, with emergency calls coming in around 3:30 a.m. WPXI reported witnessing multiple fire departments responding to the scene, where firefighters worked to subdue the inferno.
Upon arrival, crews encountered an active blaze that had engulfed the structure. Fortunately, the situation was controlled, and no injuries were reported. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the incident further. WTAE confirmed that no initial reports of injuries were made during the emergency response.
The cause and damage of the fire are still unknown. The fire marshal is investigating; updates will come after examining the scene.
