Memphis Police Department is calling on the public to provide any information regarding a recent theft from a motor vehicle that took place at Exlines' Pizza located at 2935 Old Austin Peay Highway. As detailed in a social media post by the department, the incident occurred last Monday, at approximately 12:06 p.m.
The report, identified as #2501024166ME, stated that several tools were stolen from a truck parked at the business premises. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect loading the stolen items into a gray Nissan Maxima, notable for its heavy front passenger side damage, bearing the Tennessee license plate 066-BLXJ. The plates, while identified, were not on record, adding a layer to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the incident. To assist in the investigation, photos of the suspect and the vehicle were attached to the Memphis Police Department's plea for assistance.
No arrests have been made as of yet, and the Memphis Police Department confirmed that the investigation is still active.
